Eligibility

Inclusion criteria

Inclusion criteria: 1.Participants aged between 10 years to 12 years. 2.Participants assessed to be Snehanarha eligible for Snehapana as per Ayurvedic clinical evaluation. 3.Participants with Mridu Koshta, confirmed through classical Koshta Pariksha. 4.Healthy children who are fit for Rutushodhana. 5.Participants and whose parents or legal guardians are willing to give written informed consent and Assent.

Exclusion criteria

Exclusion criteria: 1.Children with acute or chronic systemic illness, or clinical instability. 2.Children with History of allergy or hypersensitivity to Sneha Dravyas or the ingredients of the Sneha dravya used. 3.Children currently on any medication or undergoing other therapies that may interfere with study outcomes. 4.Children with developmental delays, cognitive impairment, or inability to communicate discomfort. 5.Lack of informed consent from parent or guardian and child.

MeasureTime frame
The attainment of Samyak snigdha Lakshana in children with Mridhu Koshta after administration of Sadhyosnehapana and Avapeedaka Snehapana. For duration of 3 days Deepana and Pachana medicine is given, on 4th day Snehapana is given, next day of Snehapana Samyak snigdha Lakshana is assessed.Timepoint: 1st- 3rd- 4th day
