Eligibility

Inclusion criteria

Inclusion criteria: 1. Children with vision less than 3/60 or corresponding visual field loss in the better eye with best possible correction. 2. Children aged between 6-16 years 3. Children who are willing to participate

Exclusion criteria

Exclusion criteria: 1. Children with any other systemic disease or medical condition 2. Children whose parents/guardian did not give consent. 3. Children who did not give assent 4. Children aged less than 6 years and more than 16 years 5. Children who are not available on the day of study

Primary

MeasureTime frame
Change in oral hygiene status assessed using Simplified Oral Hygiene Index (OHI-S), Plaque Index, and Gingival Index.Timepoint: Baseline, 3 months, and 6 months following intervention.

Secondary

MeasureTime frame
Retention of oral hygiene practices & improvement in brushing habits & oral health awareness among visually impaired children.Timepoint: Assessed at 3 months & 6 months following intervention.
