Design outcomes
Primary
| Measure | Time frame |
|---|---|
| Time (in days) taken to reach full enteral feeds (150 ml/kg/day) in very low birthweight neonates.Timepoint: Time (in days) to reach full enteral feeds (150 ml/kg/day). | — |
Secondary
| Measure | Time frame |
|---|---|
| Incidence of feeding intolerance Occurrence of NEC Rate of weight gain & time to recover birth weight Hypoglycemia MortalityTimepoint: As secondary outcomes will be assessed based on primary outcomes which is time taken in days to reach full enteral feed. No specific time is predetermined because of variability | — |
