Inclusion criteria
Inclusion criteria: 1. Patients (age 18 to 65 years) with ASA grade I-III undergoing Thoraco-lumbar spine surgery under general anaesthesia 2. Patients who can understand and provide a valid consent for the procedure and can understand and are willing to report the pain using NRS score.
Exclusion criteria
Exclusion criteria: 1. Patients not giving consent 2. Duration of surgery more than 3 hours 3. Patients with allergies to local anaesthetics 4. Bleeding disorders 5. Anti-coagulant or anti-platelet drugs, INR more than 1.5 6. Localised infections 7. Patients in whom the sono-anatomy of the anaesthetic injection site is not clearly delineable due to any reason 8. Patients with associated Rib fracture and polytrauma patient with associated head, thoracic, abdominal injury 9. Patients with previous history of spine surgery
