Inclusion criteria
Inclusion criteria: 1 Adults aged 18 to70 years 2 Presenting with an acute insect bite ie within 24 to 48 h of onset 3 The presence of local symptoms at the bite site includes redness, swelling, pain, burning sensation, or itching 4 Mild to moderate cases having swelling 3mm to 30mm NRS score 1 to 6 and Subjective assessment score less than or equal to 7
Exclusion criteria
Exclusion criteria: 1 Patients on regular anti-inflammatory, antihistaminic, immunosuppressive, or systemic corticosteroid medications. 2 Signs of secondary infection at the bite site. 3 Active dermatological conditions at the site of bite e.g., eczema, psoriasis, chronic ulcers. 4 History of systemic allergic reaction.
