Eligibility

Inclusion criteria

Inclusion criteria: 1. Children diagnosed with Autism Spectrum Disorder as per DSM-5 criteria. 2. Age group 3 to 12 years. 3. Indian scale for assessment of autism score greater than 70 (moderate to severe autism). 4. Children whose parents or guardians provide written informed consent. 5. Patients willing to participate and comply with follow-up assessments for the study duration.

Exclusion criteria

Exclusion criteria: 1. Children with age above 12 years. 2. Children with comorbid major psychiatric illness (e.g., schizophrenia, bipolar disorder). 3. Children on long-term psychotropic or neurological medications and other forms of intensive alternative therapy for autism during the study period likely to interfere with study outcomes. 4. Presence of severe systemic or metabolic disorders (e.g., Diabetes Insipidus, Pneumonia, Asthma, Patent Ductus Arteriosus etc.). 5. Parents or guardians unwilling to give consent or unable to ensure regular follow-up.
