Intervention1: Nebulization: 5ml of either Ropivacaine (0.75%) or lignocaine (2%) adding 2ml of Magnesium sulfate to both patient will be nebulized 15 minutes prior to intubation Control Intervention1

Inclusion criteria

Inclusion criteria: ASA- I or II, BMI- 18-30 kgm2 ,Gastrointestinal surgeries and Neurosurgery done under General anaesthesia

Exclusion criteria

Exclusion criteria: Patient refusal Patient with a recent history of sore throat or upper respiratory tract infection Patients with a history of allergy to local anesthetics Mallampati grade 3 & 4 Pregnant females
