Eligibility

Inclusion criteria

Inclusion criteria: Individuals with at least 20 natural teeth. subjects with a gingival index greater than 1 (as measured by Loe and Silness, 1963) subjects with a plaque index of greater than 1 (as measured by the plaque index by Silness J, Loe H-1964).

Exclusion criteria

Exclusion criteria: Subjects with known systemic disease. Patients under anti-inflammatory, antibiotic, or antimicrobial therapy in the past 6 months. Smokers and smokeless tobacco users. Patients who have undergone periodontal treatment in the past 6 months. Pregnant women and lactating mothers. Subjects who are allergic to any material used in the study.
