Design outcomes
Primary
| Measure | Time frame |
|---|---|
| To evaluate the diagnostic accuracy (measured as AUC) of change in PI and RI at 5 minutes to predict hypotension within 20 minutes of spinal anaesthesia.Timepoint: To evaluate the diagnostic accuracy (measured as AUC) of change in PI and RI at 5 minutes to predict hypotension within 20 minutes of spinal anaesthesia. | — |
Secondary
| Measure | Time frame |
|---|---|
| To Compare the baseline Doppler indices between groups with and without hypotensive response To calculate the cutoff value of these indices over which the risk is significant To identify and analyse the other factors that play role in Post spinal anaesthesia hypotension in elderly To establish the relationship between these indices and the need for vasopressor interventionTimepoint: Preoperative baseline and post spinal injection ultrasound followed by occurrence of hypotension at 20 mins | — |
