Eligibility

Inclusion criteria

Inclusion criteria: Group 1 Subjects diagnosed with Stage 2 and Stage 3 periodontitis with age 35 years and above. Group 2 Subjects diagnosed with Diabetes Mellitus having diabetes from past 5 years along with Periodontitis with age 35 years and above. Group 3 Subjects Diagnosed with Type 2 Diabetes Mellitus of age 35 years and above having diabetes from past 5 years without periodontitis. Group 4 Periodontally healthy subjects with age 18 years and above.

Exclusion criteria

Exclusion criteria: Individuals with systemic conditions other than diabetes that may affect periodontal status. Patients with hand deformities or skin conditions affecting dermatoglyphic quality.
