Eligibility
Inclusion criteria
Inclusion criteria: Children aged 6years to 16years with an acute episode of asthma irrespective of Gender and Socioeconomic status Respiratory severity index mild to moderate cases Children whose parents are willing to give consent and childrens assent
Exclusion criteria
Exclusion criteria: Children with acute or Severe complicated bronchial asthma and status Asthmaticus with any one of SPO2 less than 92% cyanosis pneumonia respiratory distress syndrome Bronchopulmonary dysplasia needing immediate intervention were excluded Children with Congenital lung or cardiac anomalies. Children with known case of other chronic respiratory conditions like pulmonary tuberculosis bronchiectasis
