Inclusion criteria

Inclusion criteria: 1. Primary midline ventral hernia 2. Hernia defect size from 2 to 5 cm. 3. Able to tolerate general anaesthesia. 4. Patients providing written consent to be enrolled in the study. 5. Patients already enrolled in previous RCT

Exclusion criteria

Exclusion criteria: 1. Patients lost to follow up.

Primary

MeasureTime frame
PRIMARY OBJECTIVES: 1.To compare recurrence following laparoscopic Ventral TAPP Plus repair and IPOM-Plus repair in patients with primary ventral hernia. Timepoint: At a minimum of 1.5 yrs follow up.

Secondary

MeasureTime frame
SECONDARY OBJECTIVES: 1. To evaluate mid-term quality of life outcomes using European Registry of Abdominal Wall Hernias Quality of Life (EuraHS-QoL). Timepoint: At a minimum of 1.5 yrs follow up.
