Eligibility

Inclusion criteria

Inclusion criteria: 1) Patient aged between 18 and 60 year. 2) Insomnia severity index score 8-21 3) Patients were chosen irrespective of their sex, color, or religion.

Exclusion criteria

Exclusion criteria: 1) A patient experiencing sleeplessness as a result of a serious ailment, such as diabetes, hypertension, heart disease, or other chronic conditions. 2) a patient who has alcoholism, secondary sleeplessness, or exaggerated symptoms of a prior mental disorder (severe depression and mania). 3) Women who are nursing or pregnant.

a) Assess the efficacy of Jatamansi,Sarpagandha,Shankpushpi kwath Shirodhara with Brahmi Vati in mangement of anidra. b) Assess the efficacy of Jatamansi,Sarpagandha,Shankpushpi kwatha Shirodhara with Mansyadi kwath in mangement of anidra. c) Compare the efficacy Shirodhara with Brahmi Vati to Shirodhara with Mansyadi Kwath in mangement of anidra. Timepoint: Assessment of patient at 1st ,15th,30th day (During Treatment)and 45thday (after treatment).

Secondary

MeasureTime frame
a) Costruct the standard protocol for the management of anidra b)Reduction in the Insomnia Severity Index (ISI) score. c)Improvement in Ayurvedic symptoms (Lakshana) grade such as body ache (Angamarda), heaviness of head (Shirogaurava), yawning (Jrumbha), & fatigue (Glani) etc.Timepoint: Assessment of patient at 1st ,15th,30th day (During Treatment)and 45thday (after treatment).
