Inclusion criteria

Inclusion criteria: Primigravida women Age 18-35 years Gestational age 37-42 weeks Singleton pregnancy Vertex presentation

Exclusion criteria

Exclusion criteria: Multifetal gestation Malpresentation / Malposition Preterm labour / Preterm prelabour rupture of membrane Cephalopelvic disproportion Antepartum hemorrhage Patient who underwent epidural anesthesia or any other type of anesthesia Contraindication for hyoscine butyl bromide which includes allergy to the hyoscine and other atropinics Patient not giving consent

It is expected that Hyoscine butyl bromide might help in shortening the duration of first stage of labour in term pregnant women in active labourTimepoint: Time will be noted at cervical dilatation at 4 cm and then at full dilatation . Difference of time interval will help to calculate the duration of first stage of labour in both control and test groups
