Eligibility

Inclusion criteria

Inclusion criteria: Patients diagnosed with piriformis syndrome. All genders with age group of thirty to fourty five years. patients experiencing pain while doing hip external rotation and hip extension. Positive FAIR test, SLR less than seventy degree. Patients experiencing pain radiating from buttock region till below the knee.

Exclusion criteria

Exclusion criteria: Any MSK surgery (example-THA, pelvic surgery) from past six months. Spine conditions example disc herniation, spinal stenosis. Malignancy in pelvic cancers like uterus, prostate, or bladder. Spinal tumours like astrocytomas and ependyoma chondroma sacrum. Soft tissue tumours like lipomas. Pregancy women are included .

Visual analogue scale to see the level of pain intensity before and after the treatment universal goniometer to measure the hip range of motion to see the increase in the range of motion before and after the treatment Short Form health survey 36 self questionnaire to measure the physical functioning before and after the treatment Straight Leg Raise test to see the hip range of hip to see improve before and after the treatment Timepoint: pain intensity is took by visual analogue scale before and after the treatment hip range is taken down before and after the treatment by goniometer short form thirty six health questionnaire is given before and after the treatment straight leg raise is done before and after the treatment
