Inclusion criteria
Inclusion criteria: Children aged between 4 to 12 years, diagnosed with focal drug refractory epilepsy with 1. At least 4 seizures a month in last 3 months. 2. A single seizure semiology with focal onset 3. Clinical semiology consistent with EEG, MRI and/or interictal PET brain scan
Exclusion criteria
Exclusion criteria: 1. DRFE that is consistent with LGS (Lennox Gastaut Syndrome) 2. More than 1 irritative focus in EEG 3. Lack of consensus on seizure onset being focal or generalized 4. Progressive neurological disorder, including neurometabolic disorders, neurodegenerative disorders, mitochondrial disorders and inborn errors of metabolism
