Eligibility

Inclusion criteria

Inclusion criteria: 1. Patients fulfilling classical clinical signs and symptoms of Aamvata as per Ayurvedic texts. 2. Patients diagnosed with Rheumatoid Arthritis as per ACR/EULAR criteria. 3. Patients with a history of Mandagni and/or consumption of Viruddha Ahara (as per Ayurvedic history-taking). 4. Patients who are willing to participate and provide written informed consent.

Exclusion criteria

Exclusion criteria: 1.Patients suffering from severe or deforming RA or other types of arthritis (e.g., Gout, Osteoarthritis, Psoriatic Arthritis). 2. Patients with serious systemic diseases like uncontrolled Diabetes, Hypertension.Cardiac, Renal, or Hepatic disorders. 3. Pregnant and lactating women. 4. Patients on long-term corticosteroid or immunosuppressive therapy. 5. Known hypersensitivity or allergy to any ingredient of Chitrakadi Churna. 6. Patients with psychiatric illness or who are non-compliant or unable to follow instructions.
