Eligibility

Inclusion criteria

Inclusion criteria: Patients aged between 18 to 75 years Patients posted for elective lower limb orthopedic surgeries under spinal anaesthesia Patients belonging to American society of anasthsiologist physical status 1 or 2 The patients willing to give informed consent Surgical procedure lasting between 90 to 120 minutes

Exclusion criteria

Exclusion criteria: Local infection at the site of proposed puncture Local site deformities Known allergy to study drugs Patients with coagulation disorders or on anticoagulant therapy Pregnant and lactating patients BMI more than 35 Emergency surgery
