Eligibility

Inclusion criteria

Inclusion criteria: Medically healthy patients. Patient who have persistent PPD equal to or more than 5 mm and CAL equal to or more than 4 mm. Patients who want to participate in the study. Patients who are capable of maintaining proper dental hygiene.

Exclusion criteria

Exclusion criteria: Patients who have uncontrolled systemic diseases. Patients who had flap surgery during the last six months. Patients who require extensive osseous manipulation. Patients who are on antibiotic and long term steroids. Tobacco chewers and smokers. Pregnant and lactating women.

Plaque Index, Gingival Index, Probing Pocket Depth, Clinical Attachment Level.Timepoint: Baseline and 1 month & 3 months post-surgery.
