Inclusion criteria
Inclusion criteria: Patients diagnosed with Type 2 Diabetes Mellitus as per World Health Organization criteria. Patients aged between 30 and 65 years of either gender. Patients attending the OPD or IPD of Parul Institute of Ayurveda and Research. Patients willing to provide written informed consent and undergo Deha Prakriti assessment, Vyadhi Prakriti assessment, and serum amylase estimation.
Exclusion criteria
Exclusion criteria: Patients diagnosed with Type 1 Diabetes Mellitus. Patients with known pancreatic disorders such as acute or chronic pancreatitis or pancreatic malignancy. Patients with chronic liver disease or chronic kidney disease. Patients with history of alcohol abuse or on medications affecting pancreatic enzyme levels. Patients with acute infection or inflammatory conditions at the time of recruitment. Pregnant or lactating women. Patients unwilling to provide written informed consent.
