Eligibility

Inclusion criteria

Inclusion criteria: 1 Subjects of either gender in between the age group of 20-50years. 2 Subjects who are having signs and symptoms of Android Obesity (apple shape, excess accumulation of fat in abdomen) Gynoid obesity (pear shape, excess fat accumulation in hips and thighs) 3 Subjects with Pratyatma Lakshanas of Sthoulya. 4 Subjects fit for Udvartana. 5 Subjects fit for Lekhana basti. 6 Subject with Waist Hip Ratio more than or equal to 0.9 in Males and more than or equal to 0.8 in Females - Android Obesity less than or equal to 0.9 in Males and less than or equal to 0.8 in Females Gynoid Obesity 7 Subjects with Asian BMI more than 23

Exclusion criteria

Exclusion criteria: 1 Subjects presenting with history of any other major systemic disorders that is uncontrolled Diabetes milletus, Uncontrolled hypertension, Cardiovascular disorders, Steroid induced obesity that may interfere with the course of treatment. 2 Pregnant and Lactating Women. 3 Subjects unfit for Basti.

1.Redcution of body weight of the subjects. 2.Reduction of the BMI and skin fold thickness in both Android Obesity and Gynoid Obesity.Timepoint: 4 weeks
