Eligibility

Inclusion criteria

Inclusion criteria: age-3-12 Years and sex-matched healthy children with no systemic illness, recruited from pediatric dental clinics.

Exclusion criteria

Exclusion criteria: Exclusion criteria for both groups included antibiotic use within the past month, other systemic diseases affecting oral health (e.g., diabetes, immunodeficiencies), and uncooperative behavior.
