Inclusion criteria
Inclusion criteria: Participants between 18 to 60 years of age of either sex with clinical features of Ardhavbhedaka mentioned in ayurvedic samhita i.e. ativedana in half side of Manya(Neck), Bhroo(eyebrow), Shankha(Temple), Karna(ear), Akshi(Eyes), Lalataardha (forehead of one side) and those who fit for Virechana Karma were included in participation. Participants will also be selected based on their Migraine Disability Assessment (MIDAS) score (score between 6 to 20)
Exclusion criteria
Exclusion criteria: Chronicity of more than 5 years, MIDAS score greater than 21.Secondary headaches caused by meningitis, tumors, encephalitis, head and neck trauma, cervical spondylitis, refractive errors, sinusitis and other disorders of cranium, neck, eyes, ears, nose, sinuses, teeth etc. Patients with complicated Migraine like, hemiplegic migraine and having any chronic debilitating disease with other neurological pathology.Pregnant and lactating women.Patients suffering from any other major systemic disorders e.g. tuberculosis, cancer, heart disease etc.Patients unfit for Virechana
