Eligibility

Inclusion criteria

Inclusion criteria: Patients exhibiting either partial edentulous ridges in maxilla or mandible. Patients in age group of 21 to 55 years of either sex, being systemically healthy opting for dental implants as a treatment option. Patients with adequate ridge height. Patient ready to give written informed consent. Patient exhibiting partial edentulous ridge in region of premolar and molar in each side of the jaw either maxilla or mandible.

Exclusion criteria

Exclusion criteria: Medically compromised patients, which contraindicates the surgery, immune compromised patients. Smokers and smokeless tobacco users. Pregnant women and lactating mother. Patients unwilling for implant prosthesis.

Design outcomes

Primary

MeasureTime frame
To evaluate the implant stability with photobiomodulation therapy after dental implant placement using Resonance Frequency Analysis (RFA). To evaluate the implant stability with placebo after dental implant placement using Resonance Frequency Analysis (RFA). To compare implant stability by both the techniques. To evaluate healing by Early Wound Healing Score at different time intervals pre and post placement and compare both techniques. Timepoint: Baseline, 1 week, 1 month, 3 month, 6 month

Secondary

MeasureTime frame
1. To compare crestal bone loss in implant placed and treated with photobiomodulation therapy.Timepoint: Baseline, 3 month, 6 month
