Inclusion criteria

Inclusion criteria: Adult patients 18-65 years and ASA physical status I-II. Scheduled for elective laparoscopic cholecystectomy under general anaesthesia using I-gel and neuromuscular blockade. Willing to provide written informed consent.

To evaluate the association between Train-of-Four Ratio (TOF Ratio), Diaphragmatic Excursion (DE), Diaphragm Thickness Fraction (DTF) & Diaphragm Contraction Velocity (DCV) successful extubation outcomes. 2. To compare the predictive value of TOF Ratio, DE, DTF & DCV for determining extubation success. 3. To identify potential threshold values for TOF Ratio, DE, DTF & DCV which correlate with successful extubation.
