Eligibility

Inclusion criteria

Inclusion criteria: Age: 3-12 years Sex: Both male and female children Diarrhoea Normal or Mild Malnourished status. Mild and Moderate dehydration Abdominal pain

Exclusion criteria

Exclusion criteria: Children younger than 3 years or older than 12 years. Chronic Gastrointestinal diseases or other chronic illness (Ulcerative Colitis, Celiac disease, Malena) Signs of severe dehydration which requires immediate hospitalization. Children with viral diarrhoea (e.g., Rotavirus, Adenovirus). Dysentery with blood/mucus in stools suggestive of Shigella or amoebiasis. Children already on antibiotics or anti-diarrhoeal medications for current illness. Parents or Guardians unwilling for the study.

This study will help to understand the effects of MAAMPATTAI KUDINEER in the management of MAANTHA KAZHICHAL (INFECTIOUS DIARRHOEA) and may provide a better improvement in health care of children.Timepoint: The study outcomes will be assessed at predefined time points, namely at baseline (Day 0), during treatment (Day 7), and at the end of treatment (Day 14), to evaluate the effects of Maampattai Kudineer in the management of Maantha Kazhichal (infectious diarrhoea) and its impact on improving the health status of children.
