Eligibility

Inclusion criteria

Inclusion criteria: Recreational athletes of Age 18 25 years (both males and females).BMI within the normal range (18.5 24.9)Able to perform squats without pain or discomfort. Willing to participate study.

Exclusion criteria

Exclusion criteria: Current or recent history (within the past 6 months) of lower limb injury, surgery, or fracture.Any diagnosed neurological, cardiovascular, or musculoskeletal condition affecting squat performance or balance.Use of assistive devices for mobility.Severe foot deformities or abnormal gait that may affect COP readings. Unable to follow instructions or hold squat positions.

MeasureTime frame
Rectus femoris muscle activity measured with surface EMG, expressed as % of maximum voluntary isometric contraction (MVIC). This shows how muscle activation changes with squatting angle and shift of COP.Timepoint: Baseline assessment .
