| Secondary outcomes included improvement in knee function, reduction in stiffness, and enhancement of quality of life as assessed by validated scoring systems such as WOMAC and VAS. PRP injections demonstrated superior long-term improvement in functional scores and sustained pain reduction compared to corticosteroid injections. Corticosteroids showed earlier symptomatic relief, but effects diminished over time. No major adverse events were reported in either group, indicating both treatments were safe and well tolerated.Timepoint: Based on WOMAC, VAS and KOOS score Scoring System criteria at 1 week,6 weeks,3 months, and 6 months | — |
