Inclusion criteria

Inclusion criteria: Episodic or chronic (upto 3 months) newly diagnosed migraine (according to ICHD 3 criteria) Previously diagnosed with migraine using only abortive treatment and not on prophylactic therapy for migraine. History of medication overuse in migraine.

Exclusion criteria

Exclusion criteria: Other primary headache disorders like trigeminal cephalalgia, cluster headache. Migraine with TTH overlap Previously diagnosed with migraine on prophylactic therapy. Secondary headache disorders Other Chronic Pain conditions Pregnant and lactating female patients. Epilepsy, Stroke, Heart failure, Diabetes mellitus, thyroid, Bronchial Asthma, Drug/Alcohol Abuse, Hypertension, Obesity, movement disorders Patients with Sleep-related disorders (Parasomnia/ Insomnia/ Hypersomnia) Patients who are unable to provide clinical history

MeasureTime frame
To identify and characterize the pattern of non headache symptoms across different phases of migraine attacks prodrome, headache, and postdrome.Timepoint: This is a cross sectional observational study. Outcome variables will be assessed only at the time of enrollment( baseline ) and no follow up is planned.—

Secondary

MeasureTime frame
1.To assess the phenotypic variability of non headache symptoms among individuals based on age & sex in all phases.Timepoint: This is a cross sectional observational study Outcome variables will be assessed only at the time of enrollment baseline & no follow up is planned;2.To determine the correlation between non headache symptoms & migraine disease activity & patient s disability.Timepoint: This is a cross sectional observational study. Outcome variables will be assessed only at the time of enrollment( baseline ) & no follow up is planned.—
