Inclusion criteria
Inclusion criteria: 1)Patients aged 18 to 45 years. 2)Patients with symptomatic irreversible pulpitis in a mandibular molar indicated for primary root canal treatment. 3)Presence of moderate to severe preoperative pain, as assessed by a visual analog scale (VAS). 4)Patients requiring inferior alveolar nerve block for endodontic treatment. 5)Patients willing to participate and providing written informed consent.
Exclusion criteria
Exclusion criteria: 1)History of allergy or hypersensitivity to ketoprofen, other NSAIDs, or local anesthetic agents. 2)Patients with systemic diseases or medical conditions contraindicating NSAID use (e.g., peptic ulcer disease, renal impairment, bleeding disorders). 3)Pregnant or lactating women. 4)Patients who have taken analgesics or anti-inflammatory drugs within 24 hours prior to the procedure. 5)Presence of acute apical abscess, cellulitis, or spreading infection associated with the study tooth.
