Inclusion criteria

Inclusion criteria: 1Age group between 18 to 35 years irrespective of parity 2Willing to participate and provide written informed consent

Exclusion criteria

Exclusion criteria: 1Presence of pre-existing perineal infections or systemic infections 2Patients with uncontrolled diabetes mellitus anemia Hb less than 8 gram per dl or other chronic illnesses affecting wound healing 3Known allergy or hypersensitivity to suture materials or study drugs 4Women with perineal tears other than episiotomy 5Previous history of episiotomy complications
