Eligibility

Inclusion criteria

Inclusion criteria: Healthy subjects between 18 and 50 years of age. Symptomatic irreversible pulpitis Mandibular 1st and 2nd molars. The preoperative pain score corresponding to 54 mm on the Heft Parker Visual Analogue Pain Scale (HP-VAS) No analgesics for at least 6 hours before the visit.

Exclusion criteria

Exclusion criteria: Periapical pathology Teeth with periodontal pocket, calcified canals, aberrant root canal morphology, root resorption. Prior endodontic intervention for the same tooth. Pregnant or lactating patients and systemic diseases/medications.
