Eligibility

Inclusion criteria

Inclusion criteria: 1)Patient having classical symptoms such as angamarda (body ache), shirogaurava (heaviness of the head), jrimbhika (excessive yawning), jadya (mental dullness), glani (fatigue), bhrama (giddiness), apakti (indigestion), and tandra (daytime drowsiness or lethargy). 2)Insomnia Severity Index (ISI) score between 0 and 7. 3)Patient having a very low score as calculated by the Adolescent Sleep Hygiene Scale (ASHS), with an average score less than 3.8. 4)Willingness to participate in the study with informed consent from the parent or guardian and assent from the child.

Exclusion criteria

Exclusion criteria: 1)Other sleep disorders such as obstructive sleep apnea (OSA), narcolepsy, and restless legs syndrome (RLS). 2)Severe psychiatric or neurological conditions such as autism spectrum disorder, attention deficit hyperactivity disorder (ADHD), depression, epilepsy, etc., if unmanaged or interfering with sleep. 3)Dermatological conditions such as skin infections, wounds, allergies, or hypersensitivity on the feet that preclude oil massage. 4)Insomnia Severity Index (ISI) score greater than 7.
