Inclusion criteria
Inclusion criteria: 1. Age: Men within the reproductive age range typically 18 to 50 years to represent the population of interest. 2. Abstinence Period: Men adhering to a specific abstinence period e.g., 2 to 7 days before semen collection to ensure a standard sperm concentration. 3. Non azoospermic on baseline semen analysis. 4. Willingness to provide informed consent.
Exclusion criteria
Exclusion criteria: 1. Age: Men outside the defined reproductive age range. 2. Recent Illness or Fever: Men who have experienced illness or fever in the weeks leading up to the study, as this could temporarily affect sperm parameters. Varicocele, cryptorchidism, testicular trauma, gonadal disease, Genital tract infection, scrotal disease. 3. Systemic Illness: Men with systemic illnesses or chronic medical conditions that may affect spermatogenesis or sperm motility. 4. Recent Medication Use: Men taking medications known to impact sperm motility e.g., certain antibiotics, chemotherapy drugs within a specified timeframe. 5. Inability to Provide an Adequate Sample: Men are unable to provide an adequate semen sample for analysis due to various reasons, such as difficulty with sample collection. Serologically infected patients. 6. Those who refused to give consent.
