Inclusion criteria

Inclusion criteria: patients who are above the age of 18 years and meeting any one of the following criteria BMI levels more than 25 kg/m2 waist hip ratio more than 0.90 (males) or more than 0.85 (females) waist circumference more than 90 cm (males) or more than 80cm (females) neck circumference more than 35.25 cm (males) or more than 34.25 cm(females)

Exclusion criteria

Exclusion criteria: patients with other causes of increased body weight or waist circumference such as ascites, pleural effusion, oedema, abdominal distension. patients under the age of 18 chronic inflammatory conditions - rheumatoid arthritis, lupus, inflammatory bowel disease patients who are known cases of any cancers or acute infections.
