Eligibility

Inclusion criteria

Inclusion criteria: Patients of American Society of Anaesthesiology class 1 to 3 Patients undergoing Elective Surgery Undergoing General Anaesthesia in Supine Position Patients with BMI less than 30 kg/m2

Exclusion criteria

Exclusion criteria: Patients with recent history of URTI and/or respiratory tract infections Patients with pre existing sore throat , cough Patients with Asthma and Chronic obstructive Pulmonary disease Patients with anticipated difficult airway Patients who had undergone nasogastric tube insertion Patients who had a history of psychiatric disorders Patient with history of oral and ENT surgery

TO COMPARE THE INCIDENCE OF POSTOPERATIVE AIRWAY COMPLICATION USING DIGITAL ENDOTRACHEAL TUBE CUFF PRESSURE MONITORING AND MANUAL METHOD IN PATIENTS UNDERGOING GENERAL ANESTHESIA WITH RESPECT TO SORE THROAT , HOARSENESS, COUGH, DYSPHAGIATimepoint: Intubation will be taken as 0 mins. Cuff pressure will be measured at 0min, 30 mins, 60 mins, 90 mins, 120 mins, 150 mins and 180 mins as applicable Extubation will be taken as 0 hours The above parameters will be checked at 2 hours, 24 hours and 48 hours after extubation.
