Design outcomes

Primary

MeasureTime frame
Time to first rescue analgesiaTimepoint: VAS score will be observed at different time points which will be referred to as before administering block (T0), 30 mins after block (T1), 1 hour after block (T2), 2 hour after block (T3), 4 hour after block (T4), 6 hour after block (T5), 12 hour after block (T6), 18 hour after block(T7), 24 hour after block (T8)

Secondary

MeasureTime frame
Post operative pain at rest and at passive range of motionusing VAS score, time to first rescue analgesia, quadriceps motor block, complications like nausea, vomiting.Timepoint: VAS score will be observed at different time points which will be referred to as before administering block (T0), 30 mins after block (T1), 1 hour after block (T2), 2 hour after block (T3), 4 hour after block (T4), 6 hour after block (T5), 12 hour after block (T6), 18 hour after block(T7), 24 hour after block (T8)
