Eligibility

Inclusion criteria

Inclusion criteria: Athletes aged between 18 to 30 years Working language of English History of at least 1 significant ankle sprain Cumberland Ankle Instability Tool less than 24 Foot and Ankle Ability Measure ADL scale less than 90 percent, Sport scale less than 80 percent

Exclusion criteria

Exclusion criteria: History of previous surgeries to the musculoskeletal structures (i.e., bones, joint structures, nerves) in either limb of the lower extremity History of a fracture in either limb of the lower extremity requiring realignment Acute injury to musculoskeletal structures of other joints of the lower extremity in the previous 3 months, which impacted joint integrity and function Bilateral chronic ankle instability
