Eligibility
Inclusion criteria
Inclusion criteria: 1. Subjects diagnosed with chronic generalized gingivitis. 2. No periodontal therapy rendered within the previous 6 months. 3. Subjects with age group of 18-55yrs. 4. Subjects with minimum of 20 teeth with mild to moderate gingivitis. 5. Willingness and ability to comply with the study protocol.
Exclusion criteria
Exclusion criteria: 1. Subjects suffering from any known systemic diseases. 2. Subjects who had received any antibiotic therapy in the last 6 months. 3. Subjects who had received any chemotherapeutic mouth rinses or oral irrigation or using any other oral care products during the past 3 month. 4. Subjects with periodontitis missing one or more of upper anterior teeth. 5. Drug induced gingival enlargement. 6. Unable or not willing to comply with the study protocol. 7. Subjects who are smokers and tobacco related habits. 8. Subjects who are immunocompromised.
