Eligibility

Inclusion criteria

Inclusion criteria: 1. Patient who are willing for inclusion in the study and giving consent to participate and those who are able to come for the further follow-ups. 2. Patients having radiological evidence of Osteoarthritis of Knee joints, based on American College of Rheumatology (ACR) radiographic diagnostic criteria. (13) 3. Patients belonging to both sexes. 4. Patient belonging to the age above 45 years.

Exclusion criteria

Exclusion criteria: 1. Patient unwilling for inclusion in the study and those who are not able to come for follow-ups. 2. Patients taking treatment from any other systems of medicine for Osteoarthritis. Patients with known immune-compromised diseases or other severe systemic illness. 3. Patients with other known auto-immune diseases. 4. Patients with malignancies or other severe systemic illnesses. 5. Pregnant and lactating women. 6. Any other condition requiring emergency or surgical intervention.

To find out whether the individualized homoeopathic medicine are more effective than Placebo in the management of osteoarthritis knee.Timepoint: 30 days

MeasureTime frame
To evaluate the pain, stiffness & physical functioning of knees in the patients with osteoarthritis knee using Western Ontario & McMaster Universities Arthritis Index (WOMAC) before & after giving homeopathic medicines.Timepoint: 3 months
