Inclusion criteria

Inclusion criteria: Diagnosed with Type 2 Diabetes Mellitus HbA1c greater than 6.5 Stable on oral hypoglycemic Willing to provide informed consent

Exclusion criteria

Exclusion criteria: Type 1 DM or insulin dependent patients Complications carcinoma nephropathy retinopathy cardiac disease severe hypertensive condition Active psychiatric or neurological illness Current participation in another trial History of allergic reaction to buttermilk
