Inclusion criteria: ASA PHYSICAL STATUS 1 to 3 single knee surgery

Exclusion criteria

Exclusion criteria: Bilateral knee surgery in one sitting History of allergy to local anaesthetics or study drugs- magnesium or dexamethasone Opioid addiction Local infection Patient refusal Patients with a neuropsychiatric disorder Pregnant or lactating women
