Eligibility

Inclusion criteria

Inclusion criteria: 1) ASA physical status I-III 2) Mallampatti class I-II 3) Elective thoracic surgery requiring double lumen tube 4) written informed consent

Exclusion criteria

Exclusion criteria: 1) Anticipated difficult airway 2) BMI more than 30 3) Emergency surgery 4) Patient refusal

Time required for double lumen tube insertionTimepoint: time(in seconds) measured from insertion of laryngoscope blade between the incisors until confirmation of successful double lumen tube placement by capnography
