Eligibility

Inclusion criteria

Inclusion criteria: Male children aged 5 12 years. Clinically and ultrasonographically diagnosed with non-communicating hydrocele. Children who are otherwise healthy, without any chronic systemic illnesses. Children with non-infective hydrocele secondary to previous or resolved orchitis, confirmed not to be in active infective stage

Exclusion criteria

Exclusion criteria: Hydrocele associated with Inguinal hernia, Undescended testis, and Torsion of testis. Any history of surgical intervention for hydrocele. Infected hydrocele or epididymo-orchitis. Children on concurrent medications that could interfere with the study drugs. Children with Communicating hydrocele

Measure	Time frame
The treatment is expected to reduce scrotal swelling and related symptoms, improving the quality of life in children without the need for surgery. It will provide scientific validation for the Siddha formulations Mudakkatran Thailam and Kazharchi Patru, and contribute to integrative pediatric care.Timepoint: The study outcomes, including reduction in scrotal swelling and related symptoms and improvement in quality of life, will be assessed at predefined time points at baseline (Day 0), at the end of treatment (Day 21), and at follow-up (Day 42) to evaluate both the immediate and sustained effects of the Siddha formulations Mudakkatran Thailam and Kazharchi Patru, without the need for surgical intervention.	—
