Eligibility

Inclusion criteria

Inclusion criteria: Patients having serum uric acid level more than 7mg/dl in male and more and 6mg/ dl in female. Patient presenting Toda Shotha and Sthabdhata in relation to Parvasandhi. Patient who has agreed to give written consent.

Exclusion criteria

Exclusion criteria: Known case of Amavata, Sandhigatvata , SLE. Patient on chronic use of NSAIDS and steroidal inflammatory drugs. Pregnancy, Lactating mothers. Patients prediagnosed with autoimmune diseases of joint. Patients associated with metabolic disorders and systemic diseases.

To study the efficacy of Mahishakhyo Guggul 500mg twice a day with koshnajala in vatarakta.Timepoint: 30 days

Secondary

MeasureTime frame
1.To evaluate efficacy of Mahishakhyo guggul for 30 days in lakshana of toda daha kandu sfuran shotha stabdhata twaka krushna in vatrakta patients. 2.To assess the reduction of uric acid level after mahishakhyo guggul for 30 days in vatrakta patients. 3.To assess the outcome of study after 30th day.Timepoint: 30 days
