Inclusion criteria

Inclusion criteria: - Patient is willing to participate - BMI between 20 and 30 kg/m 2 - ASA GRADE - I, II, III - MPG class 1 to 2

Exclusion criteria

Exclusion criteria: - Allergy to the drugs being used in the study - Acute or chronic hepatic disease, renal disease, cardiovascular disease, central nervous system disease, psychiatric illness, alcohol or substance addiction, endocrine disorder.

MeasureTime frame
To compare the sedation efficacy of ketamine with dexmedetomidine versus ketamine with remifentanil using the Modified Ramsay sedation score. and the use of rescue doses of ketamine. Timepoint: after premedication (before induction), just after induction, at 3min, 5min and thereafter every 5 min intra-operatively, at the end of procedure, postoperatively every 5 min, till Aldrete score 10

1. To determine in which of the two groups received a rescue dose of ketamine. 2. To compare the sedation time, procedure time, awakening time, recovery time, and surgeon satisfaction. 3. To compare the hemodynamic changes, such as heart rate, blood pressure 4. To compare any side effects during the procedure, like hypotension, bradycardia, or any other. Timepoint: after premedication (before induction), just after induction, at 3min, 5min and thereafter every 5 min intra-operatively, at the end of procedure, postoperatively every 5 min, till Aldrete score 10
