Inclusion criteria

Inclusion criteria: 1.Patient having clinical signs and symptoms of urdhwag amlapitta as described in Madhava Nidan. (Madhav Nidan 51/2,3) a. Avipaka (Suffering from Indigestion) b. Chardi(vomiting) c. Shirah shool (headache) d. Utklesh(Nausea) e. Tikta Udgar (Bitter belching) f. Amla Udgar (Sour belching) g. Kanthadaha (Burning sensation in throat) h. Aruchi (Disliking of food) 2.Newly diagnosed patients of urdhwag amlapitta.

Exclusion criteria

Exclusion criteria: a.Pregnant and lactating women. b.Patients with any GIT disease, Chronic illness and Abdominal complications. c.Patients with diagnosed cases of Duodenal, Peptic and Gastric ulcers. d. Patient on certain medications such as NSAIDs and corticosteroids.
