Inclusion criteria

Inclusion criteria: Children aged 5 to 10 years. Both male and female patients, irrespective of socioeconomic status and religion. Presence of classical signs and symptoms of Atisara. Patients having mild to moderate dehydration. Patients with Atisara of recent onset.

Exclusion criteria

Exclusion criteria: Children with severe dehydration Patients suffering from any chronic or systemic illness Presence of bloody stools or persistent vomiting Patients who were HIV, VDRL or HBsAg positive Children who were malnourished or immunocompromised
