Eligibility

Inclusion criteria

Inclusion criteria: 1. Patient with osteoporosis 2. radiologically confirmed Neers 2 and 3 proximal humerus fractures 3. Presentation with 2 weeks 4. Willingness to participate and provide informed written consent 5. Fit for regular follow-up and functional assessment

Exclusion criteria

Exclusion criteria: 1. Patients with Neers 4 part fracture 2. Open fracture or associated vascular injury 3. Previous fracture or surgery of the same shoulder 4. Patients with pathological fractures 5. Severe cognitive impairment or psychiatric illness 6. Severe inflammatory arthropathy
