Eligibility

Inclusion criteria

Inclusion criteria: Cases 1.Subjects of either sex between 20 70 years with with fasting blood sugar: 126-180mg per dl, or post prandial blood sugar: 180-260mg per dl or HbA1c greater than or equal to 6.5 percentage. 2.Subjects who are willing to give written consents. Controls 1.Age and sex matched healthy adults 2.Individuals with RBS 70-140 mg per dl or FBS less than or equal to 100 mg per dl or post prandial blood sugar less than 140mg per dl or HbA1c less than 5.7 percentage 3.No metabolic or chronic systemic disease.

Exclusion criteria

Exclusion criteria: Case and control groups 1.Type I diabetes mellitus. 2.Gestational diabetes, pregnant and lactating woman. 3.Patients suffering from systemic illness. 4.Night shift workers. 5.Subjects diagnosed with sleep disorders.
